In 1988, my career in the IT industry was quick started when I took on the role of Project Manager at NCR Corporation, a global leader in consumer transaction technologies.

After attaining a degree in Economics from Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), I began working in sales at Computer Associates (CA), a major software vendor. During my six years at CA, I was promoted from Account and Sales Manager to Senior Vice President responsible for Switzerland and Eastern Europe.

I later moved on to PeopleSoft and Cambridge Technology Partners where I broadened my IT solutions background with application software and consulting services experience.

As a Global Account Manager at EMC, a leading provider of IT storage hardware solutions, I was responsible for managing one the world’s largest banks on a global level, and for overseeing the customer’s cultural integration process of Swiss and Americans. In this time, I also gained valuable people management experience as a Sales Manager.

And lastly, I had the pleasure of working at one of the world’s biggest IT companies – Hewlett Packard (HP). As Director Financial Services, I was responsible for HP Switzerland’s business in the Banking and Insurance sectors. Based on my results, I was subsequently promoted to Country Manager accountable for the profit & loss (P&L) for the Storage business in Switzerland.

After 20 years in the IT sector, I decided to leverage my experience as country, sales and account manager, and support customers in addressing their challenges and achieving their ambitious goals. In early 2012, I opened my company, DC Dorigo Consulting. At the end of 2013, I launched the incorporated company, Dorigo AG.
