After obtaining my Master\u2019s Degree in Mathematics and doing post-graduate work in the US, I became a fully licensed actuary of the Swiss and German actuarial societies and an affiliate with the British one.<\/p>

My career began in the USA, as an actuary at US Fidelity & Guaranty and then Aetna. I then moved to Europe where I worked for Accenture for nine years, first as a consultant and then Managing Director, serving the European insurance industry.<\/p>

Subsequently, I worked at IBM as an Associate Partner serving the insurance industry in Europe and Asia with product design and technical solutions in emerging markets. Later, I worked at one of the world\u2019s biggest IT companies – Hewlett Packard (HP) as Executive Director for the Insurance Industry. In this position, I was responsible for the development of IT architectures and in particular for the implementation of Telematics and Pay-as-you-drive solutions.<\/p>

I then re-entered the actuarial field, serving as Global Director at SunGard, where I led the Actuarial teams in Europe and Asia. Afterwards, at Pro Insurance Services and at FTI, I led a range of actuarial and forensic investigations into a variety of topics, including money laundering, international capital reserve needs, fraud and suicide claims, compliance issues for insurance industry start-ups, and due diligence reviews. Then with Metabiota, I served governments and insurers across the world by helping them with the vetting of risk models for epidemic and pandemic risks for L&H and livestock coverages.<\/p>

Currently, I am the chair (and founder) of the Swiss Cyber Think Tank, numbering 150 members, for which I have run many successful industry events (three per year) hosted by a variety of major companies.<\/p>

2023 I was elected to the board of the Zurich Unterland-Airport Vocational Training Forum, where I represent the area of communications.<\/p>

I am a frequent event speaker at Risk!N, the SOA, IFoA and AAE, and have published articles on actuarial and technical topics, including recent White Papers written with Denny Wan (Chair of the Open Group FAIR Sydney Chapter) of Macquarie University (Australia) on cyber pricing models and Fei Zhang (Head of Blockchain at Allianz Group) on Future Model of Insurance.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
